New York Times: US ‘War-Mongering’ Bolstered Iran’s Regional Power

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The New York Times reported that after four months since the start of the war against Iran, little has changed. Iran’s nuclear program has persisted, the fate of its ballistic missiles has been postponed to future negotiations, and forces affiliated with Iran continue their presence in the region.
The report elaborated that this agreement does not signify American military superiority but rather demonstrates the limitations of U.S. power in continuing the tension. Tehran successfully transformed one of its vulnerabilities into a new source of strength in the Strait of Hormuz. This conflict highlighted Iran’s power in utilizing the Strait of Hormuz as a strategic leverage point.
The report further emphasized that according to the agreement between Iran and the United States, Tehran will achieve significant economic gains, including the lifting of the maritime blockade, the establishment of a reconstruction fund valued at $300 billion, and the release of blocked assets.
