Top US General Chris Donahue to Retire from Pentagon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, General Chris Donahue, a senior officer at the Pentagon, is expected to announce his retirement soon. This development follows a period of 18 months during which he served as the commander of U.S. Army forces in Europe and Africa.
General Donahue’s extensive career includes leading the elite Army Delta Force and the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg. His departure comes amid ongoing discussions by U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth about widespread changes and potential dismissals within the department, targeting officers and generals who do not comply with directives perceived as unusual, sudden, or illegal.
The U.S. Department of War had previously announced the resignation of John Fellen, head of the Naval Operations division within the department. More recently, Fox News reported on the resignation of the Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol.
