Hamas Commends Egypt’s Stance on Ceasefire Agreement Implementation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas has commended Egypt’s stance regarding the implementation of a ceasefire agreement. Hazem Qassem, spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, stated that the movement appreciates the position articulated by Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel Aty, during a meeting with Nikolay Mladenov.
Qassem elaborated that this position emphasizes the necessity of fully executing the first phase of the ceasefire agreement. This includes the entry of a national committee into the Gaza Strip, the deployment of international forces to separate the occupying forces from Gaza’s residents, and the commencement of reconstruction efforts to improve living conditions.
The Hamas spokesperson highlighted that Egypt’s responsible stance clarifies the priorities for implementing the agreement and demonstrates Cairo’s understanding of the Palestinian people’s needs and the correct path toward the complete execution of the ceasefire deal.
