According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Geological Survey announced early Thursday that two large earthquakes rocked Venezuela. Data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Russia Today, indicated the initial magnitude of the tremors was revised from 7.1 to 7.5 before being finalized at 7.2. The agency explained that the earthquake occurred in two consecutive stages, which led to adjustments in the initial intensity assessments.
