Lebanese Communist Party Chief: No Peace with Israeli Enemy, Denounces Maritime Deal

Hanna Gharib, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Communist Party, has unequivocally stated that there will be no peace with the Israeli enemy, denouncing a recent maritime border agreement and calling for its annulment. The party previously voiced opposition to normalizing relations with Tel Aviv.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hanna Gharib, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Communist Party, has strongly asserted that peace with the Israeli regime is impossible. Gharib stated that the party had opposed the normalization of relations with Tel Aviv from the outset, particularly through the maritime border agreement, and questioned how they could then consent to a capitulation to the Israeli enemy.

He added, “There will be no peace with the racist and genocidal regime. Everyone must unite to disrupt this disgraceful and humiliating agreement.”

Previously, Lebanese citizens took to the streets to protest the agreement between the country’s Western-aligned government and the Zionist regime, brokered by the United States. Critics argue that this deal would disarm the resistance and solidify the Zionist regime’s occupation of southern Lebanon.
