Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq Discusses Funeral Preparations for Supreme Leader in Baghdad

Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadegh, met with Qais Al-Khazali, Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, in Baghdad to discuss the arrangements for the funeral procession of Iran’s martyred leader in Iraq.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, quoting Al-Waa’ News Agency, Qais Al-Khazali, Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, and Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadegh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad, met and discussed the preparations for the funeral ceremony for Iran’s martyred leader in Iraq.

Qais Al-Khazali, Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement in Iraq, hosted Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadegh, Iran’s Ambassador to Baghdad, today.

The two sides reviewed diplomatic issues and the latest regional and international developments.

During the meeting, preliminary arrangements for the ceremony to receive the body of Ayatollah Khamenei, the martyred leader of Iran, in Iraq were discussed.

The two sides explored ways to prepare and provide suitable conditions and necessary logistical services for the reception of the body, aiming to ensure the organization of a funeral ceremony befitting the status of the martyred Khamenei, considering the high-level and continuous coordination between the relevant parties in the two countries.
