Qatar’s Emir Discusses Iran-US Talks, Lebanon Situation with American Envoys

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency citing Al Jazeera, the Amiri Diwan of Qatar announced that His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, consulted with American envoys Whitocraft and Kushner on the latest trends concerning the Iran-United States negotiations.

During the meeting, the Emir of Qatar also exchanged views with the two American officials on the situation in Lebanon. The Emir of Qatar emphasized the importance of stabilizing the ceasefire in Lebanon and the continuation of Qatar’s mediation efforts with Pakistan, along with supporting the negotiations.

Whitocraft and Kushner expressed their gratitude for the role played by Qatar and Pakistan in this regard. The two American officials underscored the United States’ commitment to the negotiation process with Iran to achieve a comprehensive agreement.
