Palestinian Resistance Movement Celebrates 1,000 Days of Gaza War, Vows Continued Struggle

The Palestinian resistance movement Ahrar issued a statement marking 1,000 days of the Gaza war, condemning it as one of the most brutal in contemporary history while reaffirming the Palestinian people’s unyielding will to resist occupation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ahrar Palestinian resistance movement has issued a statement on the 1,000th day of the Gaza war, describing it as one of the most brutal conflicts in contemporary history and emphasizing that the Israeli regime continues its genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. Tel Aviv has transformed Gaza into a theater of slaughter, destruction, starvation, and displacement, destroying homes, hospitals, schools, shelters, and infrastructure in the Strip through thousands of crimes against civilians, children, women, and the elderly.

The Ahrar movement stressed that the Israeli regime believed its war machine could break the will of the Palestinian people and expel them from their land. However, they were met with the steadfastness of the people of Gaza and failed to achieve their objectives.

The movement added that the Gaza war has exposed the true face of the Israeli regime, built on slaughter, genocide, and starvation. It has also revealed the extent of complicity of certain international powers that, through political and military support, have facilitated the continuation of these crimes.

The statement asserted that the Israeli regime’s crimes will never achieve their goals, and the resistance will continue to defend the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and confront the occupation with all legitimate means.

The Ahrar movement also expressed appreciation for the resilience of the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, the occupied territories of 1948, and the refugee camps, honoring the martyrs and emphasizing support for the wounded, prisoners, and their families.

The movement concluded by calling on Arab and Islamic countries and free people worldwide to intensify their political, legal, and popular efforts to stop the war, break the siege of Gaza, bring the leaders of the Israeli regime to justice, and isolate the regime internationally.

Ahrar Palestine emphasized that the 1,000th day of the war symbolizes the Israeli regime’s failure to break the will of the Palestinian people and serves as a testament to the ongoing struggle for freedom, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the return of refugees to their homeland.

Meanwhile, Palestinian writer and political analyst Mustafa Abusoud stated that 1,000 days of war against Gaza have removed the mask from the faces of countries, organizations, and institutions that claimed to defend civilians and human rights.

He said that Gaza has proven that freedom and independence cannot be achieved without sacrifice, and the Israeli regime, after failing to achieve its military objectives, will continue to exert pressure to prolong the suffering of the people of Gaza.

Dr. Mohammad Abusalmiya, Director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, warned that after 1,000 days of war, the health system in the Gaza Strip is heading towards complete collapse. He added that Gaza’s healthcare sector is experiencing its most dangerous phase since the start of the war, with ongoing shortages of medicine and medical equipment, hospitals out of service, and a growing number of patients and wounded individuals lacking access to treatment.

According to him, 50% of essential medicines, 70% of medical supplies, and 86% of laboratory materials are unavailable in Gaza. Abusalmiya added that the decommissioning of several major hospitals has reduced hospital bed capacity by 40%.

He also warned that dialysis, cancer, and diabetic patients face increasing risks due to severe shortages of essential medicines and treatments. The Director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex emphasized that 22,000 patients in Gaza require urgent transfer for treatment outside the Strip.
