US Navy Ends Search for Sailor Lost in Arabian Sea Helicopter Incident

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Fifth Fleet of the United States Navy, based in Bahrain, announced on Sunday that it has halted its active search for a missing sailor who disappeared following the crash of a helicopter in the Arabian Sea. The announcement stated that 102 hours of searching have concluded.
This incident follows a notification from the Fifth Fleet on July 1st, issued via the social media platform X, which reported that the U.S. Navy was searching for a missing crew member after an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, belonging to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, made an emergency landing.
The Fifth Fleet had previously indicated that there were no signs to suggest the helicopter’s emergency landing was the result of hostile action. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
