Yemeni Official Praises Iran’s Leadership in Navigating Historical Junctures

A senior Yemeni official has lauded Iran’s leadership, particularly that of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, for skillfully guiding the Islamic Republic through complex historical periods and challenging regional dynamics. The official highlighted Iran’s resilience and its role in pushing back against what he termed ‘arrogant’ global strategies.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, Deputy Head of Yemen‘s Supreme Political Council, stated in an interview with Al-Masirah network that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has managed historical events with sagacity, steering the Islamic Revolution through intricate and difficult phases toward evident victories. This assessment comes amid recent developments and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s standing in regional equations.

Al-Nuaimi emphasized national cohesion in Iran, noting that the martyrdom of commanders and prominent figures has not diminished the nation’s resolve but has instead fostered greater unity within the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian nation, intensifying national solidarity in defense of the country’s ideals. He asserted that the Iranian people, by reaffirming their commitment to their principles, are emphasizing the necessity of full independence and the complete dismantling of U.S. economic and political sanctions.

Further elaborating on the international isolation of the United States, the senior Yemeni official indicated that even European allies acknowledge America’s diminished standing in the face of Iran’s power. He claimed that Tehran’s actions against what he described as ‘arrogant’ strategies have led to the humiliation and collapse of the White House’s dominance in the region.

Al-Nuaimi concluded by noting that the current bond between Iran’s leadership and its people in supporting the “unity of resistance fronts” and rejecting any dependence on the United States is at an unprecedented level in the past 47 years, which he believes portends greater victories for the resistance bloc. He also pointed to the delivery of a shipment by an Iranian plane to Sana’a airport as part of these efforts to break the blockade.

He added that Yemenis are capable of imposing their will, noting that the agreement with the Saudi ambassador is merely an initial draft and that the Yemeni people will not abandon this matter. Al-Nuaimi stated that Yemen will prioritize diplomacy, provided there is sufficient reason and understanding to accept it, otherwise, the Yemeni people possess other means and methods to enforce their rights and demands.

The Deputy Head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council commented that the old balance of power has shifted, and now the Zionist regime, similar to the situation of our people in Gaza, faces the threat of missile attacks and the resilience of the resistance. He further stated that the era of American hegemony has ended, and current indicators suggest that change occurs only when it is genuine and linked to decisions countries make regarding the presence of the U.S. and its military bases on their soil. Al-Nuaimi concluded by calling for the Arab nation to be liberated and mobilized, asserting that Iran is currently leading this liberation process to establish a fitting geopolitical and geographic position for the Islamic Ummah.
