Iraqi Forces Finalize Preparations for Martyr Leader’s Funeral Ceremony in Karbala

Senior Iraqi military and security officials convened in Karbala to meticulously review and finalize all logistical and security arrangements for the upcoming funeral ceremony of the martyred leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a high-level meeting focused on the final preparations for the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, was held in Iraq. The gathering took place at the headquarters of the Karbala Operations Command, as reported by the Mehr News Agency, citing the Public Relations Office of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).

The session was chaired by Abdulaziz al-Muhammadawi, Chief of Staff of the Iraqi PMF, and was attended by the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command, and a number of senior Iraqi military and security commanders. The primary objective of this extensive meeting was to assess the latest readiness concerning the arrangements for the funeral procession of the martyred leader.

Discussions during the meeting centered on the most recent security plans, the organization of the ceremony, and the coordination mechanisms among various military and security organizations. The aim was to ensure a smooth execution of assigned duties and to maintain public security and order throughout the duration of the funeral procession. Participants underscored the critical importance of consolidating efforts and synchronizing tasks among all involved parties. They also emphasized the necessity of sustained field and logistical preparedness to guarantee the successful implementation of pre-defined plans for the funeral ceremony, thereby achieving the highest levels of security and organization.
