According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) issued a statement on Tuesday, alleging that a maritime incident occurred involving an oil tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The UKMTO claimed the tanker was hit by an unknown projectile and is believed to have suffered structural damage.
No fatalities or environmental impacts have been reported in connection with the incident. Investigations by the UKMTO are ongoing. Vessels are advised to proceed with caution and report any suspicious activity to the UKMTO.
