Iraq Holds High-Level Security Meetings for Iranian Leader’s Funeral Ceremonies

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Iraqi Security Media Cell reported that the high security committee tasked with organizing the funeral procession for Iran’s martyred leader convened two separate meetings in the provinces of Najaf Al-Ashraf and Karbala Al-Mualla. During these sessions, Ehsan Al-Awadi and Qais Al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commanders of the Joint Operations Command, reviewed the final preparations for the ceremonies in the aforementioned provinces and their ultimate coordination. Security commanders and relevant institutions presented reports detailing the latest updates on finalizing drafted plans and the optimal division of duties and responsibilities among all commanders. The meetings underscored the significance of integrating security, coordination, and service plans in a manner befitting Iraq’s standing. Details concerning timelines, the procession protocol, and venues in Najaf Al-Ashraf and Karbala Al-Mualla were also discussed. The committee further emphasized the implementation of all directives and executive measures, including designating routes for the transfer of the body and organizing the arrival and presence of mourners to ensure the smooth conduct of this somber occasion.
