During a meeting with Prime Minister Modi in Auckland, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon emphasized that this agreement builds upon the prior free trade deal finalized in April. He stated that the new partnership will provide a “framework and scope” for the ongoing relationship between New Zealand and India, paving the way for expanded cooperation across various sectors.
