Netanyahu Cabinet Seeks Votes with Economic Incentives and Draft Law Easing Military Service Rules

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Netanyahu cabinet is making a concerted effort to secure votes from Zionists as the election date in the occupied territories draws near. This strategy involves enacting a series of decisions and offering economic concessions to settlers, alongside reducing restrictions imposed on those who have evaded military service.
In line with this objective, the Security Committee in the Knesset has approved a draft law proposing the suspension of punitive measures against Haredim, or ultra-Orthodox Jews, who have refused to enlist in the military. Furthermore, the Finance Minister of the Netanyahu cabinet has decreed tax exemptions for Israeli settlers.
These actions have prompted criticism from certain political figures within the Israeli regime. Reports from the Mehr News Agency, citing Quds Press, indicate that these measures are intended to increase support for the current government.
Adding to the political pressure, a recent poll conducted in the occupied territories shows that the ‘Yisrael Beitenu’ party, led by Benny Gantz, has overtaken the ‘Likud’ party. This development represents a fresh blow to Netanyahu’s precarious position ahead of the October 27th elections.
