France Offers Intervention in Lebanon’s Disarmament Process

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French Foreign Minister announced that France could participate in the process of monitoring Hezbollah’s disarmament and is prepared to be involved in the deployment of international forces in Lebanon. This action would take place if Lebanese officials request it from Paris. The French Foreign Minister stated in interventionist remarks that Paris is ready to take action to support the Lebanese Armed Forces with the backing of the United States and European countries such as Italy. Earlier, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock had announced that Berlin and Paris intend to launch a new initiative aimed at achieving peace in Lebanon.
