Iran’s IRGC Claims Missile Strike on U.S. Air Base in Jordan

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it targeted a U.S. air base in Jordan with ballistic missiles, asserting it was in retaliation for U.S. actions. The IRGC stated the base was used to launch attacks against Iran and accused the U.S. of complicity in the deaths of Palestinian civilians.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement, number 9, declaring that Islamic fighters struck a key facility at a U.S. air base on Jordanian soil. The IRGC stated that this operation, codenamed ‘Yalatharat al-Hussein (a.s.)’ as part of the third phase of the second ‘Nasr 2’ wave, was in response to U.S. attacks that had utilized the base. They asserted that American criminals were punished for their actions.

The statement further claimed that on the first day of these alleged aggressions, the ‘arrogant U.S. regime’ used similar bases to kill 168 innocent schoolchildren and their teachers in Minab. The IRGC addressed the Jordanian people, emphasizing that they hold no enmity towards Jordan and hold a high regard for its people. They highlighted the understanding Jordanians have for the suffering of the Palestinian people and are aware of the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime, including the killing of seventy thousand Palestinians, twenty thousand of whom were children in Gaza, with direct U.S. involvement.

The IRGC suggested that a strong demand from Jordan for the removal of U.S. bases from the region would significantly aid in saving the Palestinian people and restoring security to the area, expressing a desire for Jordan’s honor and pride. The statement concluded with a Quranic verse: ‘If you support Allah, He will support you and make firm your feet.’
