Iran’s IRGC Strikes U.S. Satellite Hub and Housing in Bahrain

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a retaliatory strike targeting a satellite communications center and American personnel accommodations at the Jufair base in Bahrain, following what it described as an earlier U.S. aggression.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued its seventh statement regarding Operation Nasr 2, detailing a strike against a U.S. satellite communications center and residential facilities for American forces in Bahrain. The statement, released by the Public Relations department of the IRGC, invoked religious scripture before addressing the Iranian nation.

The IRGC declared that in response to what it termed the “child-killing” U.S. military’s defeat in the Strait of Hormuz the previous night, American forces launched an airstrike against coastal stations and several military centers in southern Iran. In what it described as the first phase of retaliation, the IRGC stated that its naval forces, under the banner of Operation Nasr 2 and invoking the name of “Ya Lasarat al-Hussein,” successfully struck several weapons support depots, a satellite communications center, and the housing facilities of American forces at the Jufair base in Bahrain using missiles and drones.

The statement concluded by asserting that the counter-operation is ongoing.
