Turkey Issues International Arrest Warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu

An Istanbul court has issued an international arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stemming from a lawsuit over the interception of a Gaza-bound flotilla. The warrant cites charges including crimes against humanity and genocide.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a court in Turkey has issued an international arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The decision, reported by Turkey Today and Mehr News Agency, was handed down by the 11th High Criminal Court of Istanbul.

The warrant was issued during a trial concerning the interception and seizure of the “Samud Fleet,” which was en route to Gaza. This judicial move is a result of a widespread lawsuit filed against Netanyahu and several other senior officials of the Israeli regime.

The charges leveled against the Israeli official are extensive and include alleged “crimes against humanity,” “genocide,” “intentional infliction of injury,” and “torture.” Additionally, the indictment accuses the defendants of “damaging property,” “looting,” “obstructing the passage of vehicles,” “kidnapping or seizure,” and “depriving individuals of liberty.”
