Kuwaiti Airspace Closed Amid Repeated Missile and Drone Alerts

Kuwait’s air defense systems were activated for the fifth time today in response to missile and drone attacks, prompting the closure of the country’s airspace and significant disruptions to flight schedules.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kuwait‘s air defense sirens sounded for the fifth time today, with the nation’s military claiming to have intercepted missile and drone attacks. Kuwait Airways announced that due to the closure of the country’s airspace today, Saturday, the schedules of most flights have been altered.

The Public Relations department of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran had previously announced that in response to the decisive and impactful operations of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran targeting strategic assets, command and control centers, logistical infrastructure, and air defense systems of the United States terrorist army, destructive drones of the Army, in the fourteenth phase of Operation Thunder, targeted the ammunition depot of the aggressor American army at Al-Odaire camp, the headquarters buildings, and ammunition warehouses of this child-killing army at Ali Al-Salem base, as well as several connecting bridges in Kuwait.
