Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich: Joining War Against Iran Not Beneficial

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that joining a war against Iran would not serve Israel’s interests, suggesting that the current economic pressures on Tehran are the most advantageous scenario for the Israeli government.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Bezalel Smotrich, the Finance Minister of the Israeli regime, claimed that Israel’s ultimate objective is to overthrow the Iranian government through economic collapse and the intensification of financial crises within the country. He asserted that Israel’s final goal, which does not necessarily align with the United States’ objective, is to weaken and destabilize the Iranian government to the point of its downfall.

Speaking on Tuesday, Smotrich indicated that Israel has no interest in joining the conflict between the United States and Iran, characterizing the existing situation as the most favorable for the regime. He contended that the most effective strategy to achieve their aim is by crippling Iran’s economy.

Smotrich alleged that Iran’s current inflation rate has reached 85 percent, with food inflation exceeding 134 percent in just four months. He also noted that the value of the Iranian Rial has fallen to 1.9 million per dollar, a trend he expects to continue. He concluded by stating that the current conditions are in their favor and there is no reason to retreat or alter their course.
