Suicide Bombing in Pakistan Claims Nine Security Personnel

A suicide bombing in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has killed nine security forces and wounded 27 others, according to Pakistani security officials. The attack targeted a security post in the northwestern region of the country.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and cited by Al Jazeera, a Pakistani security official announced that nine members of the security forces and police were killed and 27 others were injured in a suicide bombing in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the northwest of the country.

According to some reports, the death toll from this attack reached 14, with 13 of them being military and police personnel and one being an official from the Forestry Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Three militants were also killed in connection with this attack.

Informed sources, in an interview with Anadolu Agency, confirmed the news, stating that at least 10 people, mostly security forces, were killed in a nighttime suicide attack on a security post in northwestern Pakistan.

Further details regarding the perpetrator and motive behind this operation have not yet been released, and investigations into the matter have commenced.
