Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread West Bank Raids Following Nablus Operation

Israeli military forces launched extensive raids across multiple West Bank cities on Saturday, conducting house searches and arresting dozens of Palestinians, while settlers injured several individuals.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, cities across the West Bank witnessed widespread incursions by Israeli army soldiers early Saturday. These operations included house searches and the arrest of dozens of young Palestinians, with several individuals sustaining injuries from attacks by Israeli settlers, according to data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen.

In Nablus, occupation forces launched a large-scale raid on the village of “Tal” southwest of the city, arresting dozens of youths. During the operation, they assaulted and harassed some individuals and raided the home of the father of the martyr “Farouq Ramadan” within the village. The Israeli regime is attempting to demolish the home of the perpetrator of a shooting incident targeting settlers and is conducting a military operation in the “Tal” area of Nablus.

In the Jenin Governorate, occupation forces raided several towns, carrying out widespread arrests of Palestinians. Similar operations took place in the town of “Abwein” north of Ramallah. In Jenin Governorate, occupation forces attacked Zububa, Fayyaqia, Ya’bad, Burqin, Jalbun, Qabatya, and Jalqamus, as well as the refugee camp housing in Jenin Camp, searching several homes. During these raids, Ta’ie Zakarna was arrested in Qabatya, and Jihad Al-Sa’di was apprehended in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin.

The Israeli military also continued house searches of citizens during an ongoing raid in the city of “Tubas.” Similar operations are underway in the “Al-Naqar” neighborhood of “Qalqilya” city.

Israeli soldiers also raided the cities of Tubas and Jericho, the Aqaba Jabr refugee camp, and the settlements of Jayyous, Beit Furik, Tal, Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, and Kafr Aqab. In Qalqilya, they searched a number of homes and arrested Samir Hourani.

In a related development, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that eight people were injured following an attack by settlers on residents of the village of “Far’ata” east of Qalqilya. Six of the injured were struck by live ammunition.
