Yemen’s Al-Mashat Backs Armed Forces, Warns Riyadh

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of Yemen‘s Supreme Political Council, stated that the actions of the Yemeni armed forces are legitimate and justified. He emphasized that the primary goal of these forces is to bring an end to the nearly 12-year-long Saudi-led blockade and aggression against Yemen. Al-Mashat asserted that the Yemeni people have shown resilience for close to a decade and a half, and victory, by God’s will, will be theirs.

Dismissing condemnation statements against Sana’a as worthless, Al-Mashat underscored that Yemen’s stance is just and its demands are fair, aiming solely to end the Saudi blockade and aggression. Addressing the rulers in Riyadh, he cautioned that those offering them false promises and vain hopes are not acting in their best interest and will bring them no benefit. He characterized anything other than ending the aggression and lifting the blockade as mere illusion and mirage.

The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council concluded by expressing his utmost gratitude and appreciation for the capable and organized Yemeni armed forces.
