Kremlin Perceives Duality in Trump’s Stance on Ukraine Conflict

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Kremlin views a duality in U.S. President Donald Trump’s stance concerning the Ukraine conflict. Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin’s spokesperson, stated that Moscow welcomes Washington’s declared readiness to facilitate a peaceful agreement.
Peskov informed reporters, “We are witnessing a certain duality in the American position. On one hand, they supply weapons to Ukraine, although President Trump claims he does not precisely know who receives them, as they are given to NATO and the rest is not their concern.”
He further elaborated that, on the other hand, the United States sincerely announces its readiness to facilitate a peace settlement. Peskov concluded, “In this regard, of course, we find this appealing and utilize this readiness to support the process.”
