U.S. Ambassador to UN: Trump Pursuing Diplomatic Path with Iran

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, emphasized on Sunday that President Donald Trump is indeed pursuing diplomatic options with Iran. Speaking to Fox News, Waltz asserted that Trump is granting diplomacy with Iran some time.
Responding to a question about whether the conflict with Iran might conclude by year’s end, the American official claimed, “I’m not going to set a timeline. The President has all options on the table. He is exploring economic, diplomatic, and military options concerning Iran to achieve a very strategic objective. Trump is focused on this matter!”
Waltz further alleged, in an apparent attempt to highlight perceived internal divisions within Iran for political and media leverage, that “What the President is doing now, and what we have consistently seen, is giving the negotiation process time and opportunity. Negotiations are ongoing and are being pursued at all levels. However, what we consistently witness is disagreement within the Iranian government; a kind of internal struggle is underway! Some are seeking the Supreme Leader’s guidance, while others wish to pursue a different path. This situation makes achieving a reasonable solution diplomatically very difficult and challenging.”
