Israeli Defense Minister Vows Escalated West Bank Operations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that the Israeli regime’s policy in the West Bank is “offensive.” He stated that the Israeli cabinet is examining the possibility of evacuating residents from certain Palestinian towns in the region, similar to actions previously taken in camps in the northern West Bank.
Katz added, “The Israeli army continues its military operations in the West Bank. Options under consideration include implementing extensive measures in areas facing security tensions and challenges.”
The Israeli Defense Minister’s remarks come as the Israeli army’s military incursions and arrests in the West Bank have intensified in recent weeks. Concurrently, Palestinian sources have warned of the consequences of these escalating tensions, indicating that an increase in conflict could have serious negative impacts on the region’s security and political landscape.
