Poll Reveals Majority of Americans Believe Trump Administration Facing Unexpected Challenges in Iran Conflict

A recent CBS News poll indicates that a significant majority of Americans, 76 percent, feel the Trump administration has encountered more difficulties than anticipated in its engagement with Iran. Furthermore, two-thirds of respondents believe the conflict should conclude immediately.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data released by the Mehr News Agency reveals that a CBS News poll shows 76 percent of Americans believe the Trump administration has faced challenges in its conflict with Iran that exceed initial expectations.

The survey found that only 20 percent of participants felt the course of the conflict has progressed as the Trump administration had predicted.

Additionally, two-thirds of those polled emphasized that the war should end immediately.

Earlier reports from Bloomberg had also indicated that the U.S. government was experiencing difficulties in securing financial support for its actions against Iran. The U.S. administration had previously requested an emergency budget of tens of billions of dollars from Congress, but the approval of this additional funding is not guaranteed.
