Russia: Iran Possesses Capabilities for Self-Defense

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing RIA Novosti via Mehr News Agency, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Administration (the Kremlin), declared on Monday that Iran is an independent country resolute in defending its rights. Peskov characterized Ukraine’s actions against Iran as aggressive.

The spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Administration further elaborated that Tehran possesses the requisite capabilities in this regard. This statement follows earlier remarks from Peskov, who had previously announced that Ukraine’s attacks on ships in the Caspian Sea are extremely dangerous. He noted that these attacks signify an expansion of the geography of Ukraine’s military actions and cannot be overlooked.
