Jordan Confirms Iranian Missile Strikes, Claims Interception

The Jordanian military has confirmed that Iran launched missile attacks, while simultaneously asserting its success in intercepting five projectiles. The incident follows reports of activated air defense systems in the region.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Jordanian army has confirmed the occurrence of Iranian missile attacks. The military asserted, as it has in previous instances, that it successfully intercepted five launched missiles. Last night, media sources reported the activation of air defense systems in Jordan. The Axios news site, citing an American official, reported that Iran fired ballistic missiles toward a U.S. military base in Jordan. The U.S. Central Command’s terrorist headquarters, as is customary, claimed that all Iranian missiles fired at Jordan were intercepted and destroyed. This claim has been made in previous attacks, only to be proven false by the subsequent release of satellite imagery or reports of military casualties.

Early this morning, the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a statement that the U.S. Army’s airbase and central command in Jordan were targeted by ballistic missiles.
