Netanyahu’s US Trip Marked by Unprecedented Security Measures

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data released by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, indicates that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s aerial journey to the United States involved unusual security and media arrangements. Netanyahu’s aircraft departed from Nevatim base, rather than Ben Gurion Airport, without the presence of journalists or a pre-announced schedule.

Yaron Ibrahim, a correspondent for Israel’s Channel 12, reported that Netanyahu’s trip to the U.S. was conducted under exceptional security measures. These measures are attributed to heightened fears and concerns regarding the potential for assassination attempts on Israeli officials.

Consequently, Israeli security circles requested that Netanyahu’s visit to Washington be kept confidential. Journalists were not even present on Netanyahu’s aircraft, and the exact time of its landing in the United States was not disclosed.

During the flight of Netanyahu’s plane, at least 2,400 users tracked the aircraft’s movement.

Al Jazeera reported that the significance of these measures is amplified by the ongoing international arrest warrant issued against Netanyahu by the International Criminal Court, which remains valid. Netanyahu’s aircraft traversed the airspace of Greece, Italy, and France, all of which are member states of the International Criminal Court.
