Iraq Denies US Claims of Baghdad’s Coordination on Attacks

The Iraqi government has officially denied any prior knowledge or coordination regarding the recent attacks conducted on its territory, refuting claims made by U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Iraqi government has stated it had no prior information about the attacks carried out on Iraqi soil. This statement comes in response to claims by U.S. President Donald Trump, who asserted that the “aggressive attack” by the United States and Saudi Arabia against resistance forces in Iraq was “coordinated with the Baghdad government.”

Saudi Arabia and the United States jointly targeted positions of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in several Iraqi cities on Wednesday morning. The Iraqi government’s spokesperson, Haidar al-Aboudi, clarified that the administration in Baghdad was not aware of these operations beforehand.
