Israeli Officer Injured in Clashes with Hezbollah Fighters in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli media outlets have reported clashes between Hezbollah fighters and Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon. The Hebrew news outlet “Hadashot Bazman” reported an overnight engagement between the Israeli army forces and Hezbollah combatants in the southern part of the country. Several injured members of the Israeli army were reportedly transferred to Rambam Hospital. The spokesperson for the Israeli army confirmed the injury of an officer during military operations in southern Lebanon, describing the officer’s condition as moderate. The Israeli Army Radio also announced that Hezbollah fighters confronted and engaged Israeli soldiers from the ‘Igorke’ unit last night as they attempted to infiltrate the Al-Tahir region.
