Initially, the Lebanese army stated that five soldiers suffered minor injuries as a result of an Israeli attack. This incident reportedly occurred while an army vehicle was escorting local residents in the town of Kfar Kila.
In a subsequent statement, the Lebanese army clarified its earlier announcement regarding the minor injuries of five soldiers in the town of Kfar Kila in Bint Jbeil. Investigations conducted by a specialized unit indicated that the explosion was caused by a suspicious object. Further investigations are underway to ascertain more details.
Concurrently, the National News Agency of Lebanon reported that an Israeli army drone dropped a bomb at a crossroads in the town of Sarbin, a suburb of Bint Jbeil, targeting a civilian vehicle and an accompanying army vehicle. The explosion of this bomb resulted in the injury of several civilians and two members of the Lebanese army.
