US Casualties in Iran Conflict Reach 653, Including Senior Officers, Reports ABC

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. media outlets are providing the latest accounts of American casualties in the war with Iran. The U.S. network ABC has reported that the number of American soldiers injured in the conflict with Iran has reached 653, with 64 of them being senior officers.

Concurrently, the American outlet The War Horse stated that among the injured are 64 members of the Navy, 51 from the Air Force, and 19 from the Marine Corps. This outlet also reported, citing obtained data, that Iranian attacks have repeatedly caused brain injuries and head trauma among American servicemen.

According to the report, at least 170 American soldiers have suffered head injuries since the beginning of the war with Iran up to early April. The War Horse noted that an Iranian drone targeted the U.S. forces’ operations center in the port of Al-Shuaiba, located in Kuwait, on the first day of March. The outlet added that the attack on Al-Shuaiba port resulted in the deaths of 6 American soldiers, making it the deadliest attack against U.S. forces during the war with Iran.

The report also indicated that during the same attack, a U.S. Army colonel sustained a brain injury due to the blast wave.
