The discussions, based on data published by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) via Mehr News Agency, centered on practical strategies to enhance joint coordination in confronting regional challenges.

A statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that both sides emphasized the pivotal role of the conference’s outcomes in advocating for the cause of Jerusalem and safeguarding the city’s authenticity. During the conversation, the Iraqi Foreign Minister extended congratulations to Elaraby on his new position and expressed optimism that his tenure would lead to a strengthening of the Arab League’s standing.

The dialogue also encompassed the subject of Iraq’s relations with the Persian Gulf states, with both parties stressing the importance of developing these ties to ensure collective stability and interests.
