Putin Appoints New Russian Ambassador to Syria

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Dmitry Dogadkin as the new Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Syrian Arab Republic. The decree formalizing this appointment was published on the official legal documents website.

Dogadkin previously held the position of Russia’s Ambassador to Qatar, having stepped down from that role in July.

The text of the decree states: “Dmitry Nikolayevich Dogadkin is appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Syrian Arab Republic.”
