The discussions were reported by the Mehr News Agency, citing Sputnik.

A statement released by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that both sides emphasized the urgent need to halt conflicts and swiftly resume negotiations. They underscored the importance of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, signed between Tehran and Washington on June 17, as a basis for these discussions.
