North Korea Launches Suspected Ballistic Missile Towards Sea of Japan

South Korea’s military and Japan’s Defense Ministry announced Thursday that North Korea has fired a projectile, believed to be a ballistic missile, into the Sea of Japan. The missile reportedly landed outside of Japan’s exclusive economic zone.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, South Korea’s military and Japan’s Defense Ministry announced Thursday that North Korea has fired a projectile into the Sea of Japan, which is suspected to be a ballistic missile.

The Japanese Ministry of Defense stated that North Korea launched the projectile towards the sea on Thursday, and it is highly likely to have been a ballistic missile.

Japanese news agency Kyodo also reported that the missile landed outside of Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
