According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Saudi network Al-Hadath, quoting its affiliated sources, has claimed that a joint statement from Oman and Iran will be released soon. This statement, according to the report, will lead to the creation of a temporary crossing in the Strait of Hormuz.

Al-Hadath further alleged that this temporary crossing would be utilized until the final arrangements for permanent passage are concluded.

These claims emerge at a time when officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran have not officially confirmed any of the media speculations regarding an agreement with Oman concerning the Strait of Hormuz. However, they have reported progress in this matter.
