Mossad Chief Dismisses Two Senior Officers Following Failure of Iran Regime Change Plot
The head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence service has reportedly dismissed two senior officers, who led key departments, following the failure of a plot aimed at changing the regime in Iran. This action reflects accountability for the failed operation.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency citing Al Mayadeen, Israel’s Channel 12 television network revealed that the chief of the regime’s intelligence service (Mossad) has dismissed two senior Mossad officers, who were heads of departments. This dismissal comes in the wake of the failure of a plan to change the regime in Iran.
The Israeli media report indicates that the dismissals stem from the Mossad chief’s perspective that those who designed the regime change plan in Iran must bear the consequences of its failure.
