Seven Injured in Bomb Blast in Damascus Suburb
An explosion in the Jaramana district, a suburb of Damascus, has injured seven people, according to Syrian health officials. Forensic teams are examining the remnants of the device, believed to be a homemade bomb planted on a passenger bus.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, seven people were injured in an explosion in the Jaramana area, on the outskirts of Damascus. Syrian state news agency SANA, quoting the director of emergency services at the Ministry of Health, confirmed the casualties. Forensic medical teams are currently investigating the remains of the explosive device.
Syrian state television had previously reported, citing a security source, that the blast in Jaramana was caused by a homemade bomb planted on a passenger bus, resulting in injuries.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
