US Offers Conditional Easing of Iran Port Blockade Amid Maritime Talks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a U.S. official, whose identity was not disclosed, claimed in an interview with Reuters that the United States would lift its blockade on Iranian ports as soon as an agreement is reached to resume unobstructed commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

The American official, without referencing Washington’s past breaches of agreements, asserted that U.S. actions would be calibrated based on field developments and Iran’s adherence to its commitments.

Furthermore, the official announced progress in negotiations between Oman and Iran concerning the Strait of Hormuz, expressing hope for an imminent agreement between the two parties.
