A Lebanese source close to the matter has claimed that Beirut and the Israeli regime have agreed on a list of nations capable of sending forces to Lebanon to oversee the disarmament process of Hezbollah. This agreement was reportedly reached during negotiations in Rome.

Countries deemed unacceptable by both Lebanon and the Israeli regime have been removed from this list. Notably, the United States and Tel Aviv have objected to the inclusion of France in the proposed list of participating nations.

Furthermore, reports indicate that Tel Aviv and the Western-aligned Lebanese government have not reached a consensus on the specific areas where Israeli forces will withdraw and Lebanese troops will subsequently be stationed.

Adding to the complexity, a Lebanese source speaking with Al Mayadeen confirmed that the names of countries intended to participate in the mechanism related to the experimental zones in southern Lebanon have not yet been finalized.

These developments occur amidst ongoing attacks and incursions by the Israeli regime against various regions within Lebanon, which have not ceased.
