Thailand School Shooting Death Toll Rises to Nine

The number of fatalities from a shooting incident at a middle school in Thailand’s Nonthaburi province has climbed to nine, including the assailant, according to reports. A 12-year-old student succumbed to severe injuries sustained during the attack.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, as reported by Tas News Agency and cited by Thailand‘s Thairath newspaper, the total number of victims in a shooting incident at a middle school in Nonthaburi province, north of Bangkok, has risen to nine, including the perpetrator. Doctors’ efforts were unsuccessful in saving a 12-year-old female student who passed away in the hospital due to critical injuries.
A 14-year-old armed teenager opened fire at the school on Friday, killing five teachers before taking his own life. Police also consider his grandparents as victims of the incident, as he shot them before proceeding to the school. In total, 23 individuals were injured in the shooting, with 13 still hospitalized.
