Russia’s FSB Reports Increased Ukrainian Espionage Targeting Russian Citizens for Terrorist Acts

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and reported by RT, Alexander Bortnikov, head of Russia’s Federal Security Service and the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, stated that Ukrainian intelligence services have intensified their activities to recruit Russian citizens for the purpose of carrying out terrorist attacks.
He added that in 2026, three attempts by Ukrainian saboteurs to infiltrate Russian territory have been neutralized.
Ukraine, having experienced defeat in conventional warfare and military operations against Russia, has increased its harassment and terrorist actions against Moscow in recent months. Experts assess that the objective behind Ukraine’s drone attacks and terrorist activities is to compel Russia to make concessions at the negotiating table.
