Iraqi Prime Minister Affirms Unwavering Commitment to End International Coalition Mission

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaydi asserted on Wednesday that the decision to conclude the international coalition’s mission in Iraq by September 30th is a “definitive and irreversible timeline.” This statement underscores Iraq’s firm stance on regaining full sovereignty.

During a formal meeting, Prime Minister al-Zaydi and General Erik Kurilla, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), reportedly reached a complete and final agreement on ending the military presence of the international coalition on Iraqi soil. This consensus signifies a critical step towards the full withdrawal of foreign forces.

Sabah al-Nu’man, spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, announced that al-Zaydi chaired a session of the National Security Council. During this meeting, current regional developments and ongoing events in the wider region were thoroughly reviewed.
