Yemen Accuses Saudi Arabia of Creating Regional Crises to Benefit Israel
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a senior Yemeni official has asserted that Saudi Arabia is actively engineering regional crises to benefit Israel’s strategic agenda. Abdulwahid Abu Ras, Deputy Foreign Minister for Yemen’s Ansar Allah government, stated that certain Arab regimes, particularly Saudi Arabia, are embroiled in internal conflicts that deplete their resources and capabilities, ultimately serving the Zionist project in the region.
Abu Ras elaborated that a close examination of Saudi Arabia’s policies reveals a consistent pattern of creating and exacerbating conflicts throughout the region, citing examples from Yemen to Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Iraq, and Somalia. He contended that this strategy aims to divert the attention of regional populations away from the Palestinian cause and prevent them from severing the roots of the Israeli regime.
He further asserted that Saudi Arabian financial influence is mobilized wherever Zionist ambitions are present. Abu Ras suggested that Riyadh should instead direct its focus and resources towards confronting the Israeli regime, which he described as a cancerous growth targeting all nations.
The Deputy Foreign Minister concluded by stating that whenever a nation prepares to support the Muslim Palestinian people, the Saudi regime endeavors to immerse that nation in domestic problems and crises, thereby diverting its efforts and attention.
