Saudi Artillery Shells Strike Residential Areas in Yemen’s Saada Province

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Saudi Arabian army continues its artillery attacks on residential areas in Saada province, located in northern Yemen. The border district of Baqim in the northwest of Saada province was subjected to Saudi artillery shelling. It has also been reported that on Thursday, residential villages in the Ghaur Al-Mashwat area of the border district of Ghamr in the west of the same province were targeted by similar attacks.

These aggressions, which have escalated since the targeting of Sanaa International Airport in July, are occurring concurrently with the continuous siege of the Yemeni people. In response, Yemeni armed forces have adopted a policy of “siege for siege and escalation for escalation” to retaliate.

Yemeni armed forces recently conducted an operation against positions of Saudi supporters in Al-Mokha and targeted the Aramco company facilities in Najran using drones. The Sanaa government, emphasizing its full readiness to respond to these aggressions, has stated that field operations and the imposition of a maritime ban on Saudi vessels in the Red Sea are legitimate responses to the repeated violations by the aggressor coalition until the demands of the Yemeni people are met.
