Russia Strikes Ukrainian Ports and Vessels, Hits Fuel Depots

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its forces have targeted Ukrainian positions, including fuel storage facilities and an escort boat in Odesa, as well as infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces in the port of Izmail. Citing Novosti, the ministry stated that Russian armed forces yesterday struck a fuel depot belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces in the port of Yuzhny in the Odesa region. The Russian army also targeted a patrol boat in the port of Odesa that was used to escort vessels carrying military cargo. Furthermore, infrastructure in the port of Izmail, utilized for the storage, loading, and transfer of military cargo and fuel for the Ukrainian armed forces, was also targeted. The Russian Ministry of Defense declared that its armed forces continue to target port infrastructure and naval vessels associated with the Ukrainian armed forces using long-range drones. Since mid-July, the Russian army has been daily targeting Ukrainian ships and storage centers in ports used by the country’s armed forces.
